Itiel Arroyo was born in Bilbao in 1985. He is licensed in computer engineering at the University of the Basque Country, student by nature and passionate about theology and critical thinking. He is a minister in his Local Church, creator of the Christian movement “La Resistencia”, and works actively in motivating and training young people who want to be radical for Jesus.
Always at the service of the Church, collaborates as a teacher and preacher in camps, conferences and young people’s events throughout all the peninsula, communicating a motivational message, challenging men and women to live for the cause of the gospel.
During these last six years, he has combined his studies with the Christian ministry, but since a teenager, has had a strong convincement that God had called him to surrender his whole life to the service of the Kingdom.
In 2008, he listened to the voice of God in prayer, and has finally decided to step out in to destiny and dedicate his life to Christian ministry.
The vision:
Motivate, prepare and send young committed people for the fulfillment of the gospel in this nation, through a theoretical and practical training, that effectively communicates the great message of Jesus
This vision includes:
1. To raise a new generation of leadership that will take their position inside the Local Church and form part of the Emerging Church movement in Spain.
2. To plant new contemporary churches, capable of communicating the message of salvation in a comprehensive language for this generation, completely modern and structurally adapted, but trustfully established in the true gospel and the essence of the primitive Christianity.
The project:
Arrange mobile training seminaries where young people could be confronted with the gospel, and challenged to live it in a real and committed attitude that would affect their daily lives.
The target would be to put at the service of the local churches in Spain an effective tool to train young people, where they can be intensively and dynamically prepared to become an active part of the Church and make a commitment of action, that would naturally bring up new young leaders and the opening of emerging communities supported by the Local Church.
This project would need the following tasks to be done:
+ Arrangement of study materials.
+ Written tutorials and own books.
+ Organizing mobile seminaries.
+ Personalized counseling and discipleship.
+ Creation of communication nets.
+ Organization of encouraging events.
+ Organizing evangelistical events.
+ Creating a social support organism.
+ Creating groups of active evangelism.
